When wet cutting, ensure that all fluids are kept at the correct level and there is a continuous supply of water to each side of the blade.

What to avoid when using a diamond blade
When dry cutting, never use a blade that has been specifically designed for use with wet cutting only.
Do not exceed the maximum operating speed as recommended by the manufacturer.
Never operate a diamond blade without using a correctly fitted blade guard.
Do not make long continuous cuts with a dry blade. Allow the blade to cool by turning in air every 10 to 15 seconds.
Do not use the blade to cut material that has not been specified by the manufacturer.
Do not attempt to cut curves or radii.
