Concrete floor grinding and polishing steps

If you need to repair the old concrete floor, you had better remove the old concrete with " Concrete Scarifier Planer", the old concrete will be grooved and remove in 2.5-3.5mm deep.

Grooved Old Concrete, old concrete surface has been removed

1. If you need to remove the old epoxy ground, paint glue, etc., it is recommended to use #20 metal grinding tools or PCD grinding tools. According to different grinding equipment, use different grinding tools, such as diamond grinding cup wheel, diamond grinding shoe(Lavina, Husqvarna, HTC, ASL...), the tools used in the following steps are also selected according to the grinding equipment.

2. If the PCD tool was used in the previous step, the #20 tool must be used in this step. If the floor is normal, use 30# metal grinding tools, make surface smoothly.

3. use metal grinding tooling #80 to make the surface scratch more thin

4.use #50 resin diamond polishing pads to polish

5: use #100 resin diamond polishing pads to polish

add curing agent, increase floor hardness (a chemical liquid which can make surface because more harder) waiting 48 hours
 

6: use #200 resin diamond polishing pads to polish

7: use #400 resin diamond polishing pads to polish

8: use #800 resin diamond polishing pads to polish, (at this time #800, you will find surface shiny)

9: use #1500 resin diamond polishing pads to polish

10: use #3000 resin diamond polishing pads to polish (now the surface will very shiny, just like mirror)

11 For stone floors, some customers even use 6000 mesh polishing pads
