In 2019, we visited clients in Saudi Arabia, including a new one in Jeddah. This client operated a granite factory equipped with five multi-blades auto cutting machines, utilizing a combination of 1200mm, 1300mm, 1400mm, 1600mm, and 1800mm diamond saw blade. These saw cutting machines and diamond saw blades were sourced from China. However, they faced a significant challenge: the granite slabs were deforming during cutting, resulting in inconsistent thickness across each slab, significantly impacting their production.

Our technicians conducted a comprehensive on-site analysis, examining the diamond segments, blade core quality, matrix quality, machine power, rotational speed, granite hardness, and even the cooling water. Based on our deduction, we provided recommendations such as improving wastewater treatment and suggesting change their blade core supplier. Furthermore, we designed customized diamond segments according client’s equipment power, granite hardness, diamond saw blade rotation, move speeding…..

Upon implementing our custom-made diamond segments, the client was quite satisfied with the quality, even though they did not switch steel blade core suppliers. Despite this, we successfully addressed the issue of inconsistent granite slab thickness after cutting. Five years on, this client in Jeddah continues to be a valued partner of ChinShine.
