The Standard of Polishing Concrete Floor

There is not published standard for polishing concrete floor, generally speaking, the concrete surface must be polished through a series of polishing pads from grit #200 to 3500. At this level the concrete surface will show the glossy sheen and high reflectivity without using a topical coating. The buffing pads don't need to be used for the concrete floor.



Used as the surface sealer of concreted structure with excellent adhesion. The polishing concrete is not only remove coarse surface, but also makes flat and shine surface by applying a sealer.

An internal impregnating sealer is applied during polishing concrete. The sealer sinks into the concrete , it is invisible to the eyes. This can protect the concrete from inside by outside, this can also harden and densifie the concrete.

When professional workers polishing the concrete floor by using all the series polishing pads, they never apply for a topical coating or wax. According to our experienced engineers, "Waxing the surface would be defeating the purpose of a fully polished floor, because the concrete floor itself is already shining, so there is no need to put something on the floor that would then need to be maintained."
