The care tips for marble or natural stone

Essential care tip for your natural stone or marble is prevention. Preventing stains or scratches before they happen is easier than getting rid of them after it happens. Help your marble maintain its natural lustre and beauty ,make the care and maintenance deserves!

General Cleaning

If you have been using any store-bought cleaners that do not expressly say they are safe on marble, you may have noticed a cloudiness or haze building up on the surface of your marble. Regular use of a neutral cleaner with a pH level of 7, can gradually remove that cloudiness. If the problem persists, you may need to have your marble professionally serviced. It could be that it is not dirty at all, but some other issue is present.

Clean natural stone surfaces with a few drops of neutral cleaner, stone soap or a mild liquid dishwashing detergent and warm water. If other stone is travertine, marble or limestone, avoid using products that contain lemon, vinegar or other acids. Rinse the surface thoroughly after washing and dry with a soft cloth.

Floor Tiles caring

For the natural stone floors, the best preventative way is clean floor often. The movement of dirt and grit as it is ground into stone tiles can wear away the surface. So regular use of a dust mop can keep dirt off the floor. Use mats at all door entry area to further ensure the long life of your floor’s beautiful finish. Wet mop regularly with hot water, and change the rinse water frequently. If the natural stone or marble floor is very dirty, the use of a neutral stone cleaner or a mild non-oil based dish detergent is acceptable.
